National Poetry Day 2023 October 2023

We celebrated poetry day in school on the 5th October.

 

KS1 rehearsed and recited “My Treasures” by Kate Wakleling

 

Each class rehearsed and recited their own poems and KS1 performed their poetry together in the hall.

It was wonderful to hear such beautiful poems made up of wonderful words.

We talked about the beauty of words and read the story “The Art of Words”
