Year 2 Skipping Festival June 2024
WE ARE WINNERS!
On Friday 14th June 2024 , 30 of our Year 2 children took part in a skipping festival. We took part in many different individual skills as well as two group skills.
These skills were single bounce, double bounce, side swing, side straddle and hop & swap. Our group skills were Run Jump Out and Keep the Pot Boiling.
Our children took this time to show off how much they have practiced and improved since their first skipping workshop. The children enjoyed the experience of showing five other schools what they have been working on as well as seeing the other schools skipping skills.
The children's hard work paid off when we WON GOLD in many of our skills as well as winning the whole competition, walking away with the Skipping Festival trophy! .
Everyone here at Diamond Hall Infant Academy are immensely proud of each and every one of our talented skippers! Well Done Year 2!
